No, not because they’re a monopoly. Or for discrimination. Or even because they reneged on another poorly thought-out promotional scheme. This time, it’s really not their fault. Truly.
The latest suit accuses a Starbucks in Indiana of serving hot chocolate that scalded a little girl.
Now I’m not a lawyer, and I don’t play one on television, but this looks like a total no-brainer to me. What kind of idiot gives a child young enough to still be in a car seat hot chocolate while the car is in motion? I’m truly sorry the little girl was injured, but Starbucks shouldn’t have to pay because her mother is a twit.

Even though I listen to mostly country music now, I used to bang my head with the best of ‘em. So after weeks of hearing the hype on VH1 Classic, hubby and I finally bought Kissology this week. Talk about a trip down memory lane! The concert footage is, of course, nothing compared to the mega-shows of today. But for the 70s, KISS was rocking it hard.
Peter Criss crooning Beth and my all-time favorite KISS tune, Hard Luck Woman. Aaah….the memories! I was a member of the KISS Army. Still have KISS, Destroyer, Rock And Roll Over, Love Gun, and Alive II on vinyl. Lost interest when they ditched the makeup though. *Sigh*
Of course watching all that old footage in Kissology was weird because I’m a big fan of Gene Simmons Family Jewels on A&E. And his everyday persona is worlds away from God of Thunder. LOL If you haven’t caught an episode, I recommend it. It’s hysterical!
